Constantin Brâncuși Studio
Constantin Brâncuși’s studio at Impasse Ronsin was a light-filled space, carefully arranged by the sculptor, where his works were presented in deliberate spatial relationships and considered a “total work of art.”
Kelly visited the studio with Jack Youngerman during an open house held by the sculptor. Although he was unable to speak with the seventy-four-year-old Brâncuși, Kelly’s works indicate that Brâncuși was essential to the formation of his artistic vision.
