Jean-Paul Sartre Apartment
An apartment located at 42 Rue Bonaparte in the 6th arrondissement, overlooking Café Les Deux Magots, where Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir worked and spent much of their time. Sartre lived there from 1945 until 1962. The apartment formed part of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés intellectual landscape and served as a hub for his work, including his personal office, a secretary’s area, and an adjoining room.
